That's a viable option in 2012

Hold on, it needs to be in the western part of the country. That topic has already been discuused. It can't be an exclusive eastcoast event.

If anything it would be better in the midwest, right smack dab in the middle of the country, so all four corners can make it.

I know some of the west coast guys couldn't make it this year.
YES your right on! There are members from east to west in both USA and Canada. I am flying from Seattle to Orlando and renting an SS. It just not feasable to drive my baby from the northwest to the southeast corner of the country.

True, true

but where has it been discussed? And it won't be an exclusive east coast event. It will go west coast in 2012 and 2013, middle of the country can be in 2014

Alright I'll concede and I've come up with a resolution

People can name a track in their corner of the country except for the southeast. I've already named the monticello motor club for the northeast, as there really isn't a better track in this corner of the country.

So,

northwest name your track
southwest name your track
midamerica name your track

Please don't name 200 tracks, choose the best one and we'll have the following list

northeast - monticello motor club
northwest -
southwest -
midamerica -

I'll start a poll and we will vote on tracks ranging from the track that has the most votes, to the track that has the least vote will solidify the order for the places that will host camarofest for the next few years.

Happy?

There's no need to. I've come up with a solution

Actually here's another idea instead of having a camarofest annually, what about we make it one per every six months

so
the upcoming one is in april
next one will be in october
etc.

I certainly admire your passion, 2000v6. We'll definitely keep this sort of discussion in mind...

HOWEVER...(you knew that was coming, didn't ya?)...as garcmol has reiterated a few times -- no one involved with organizing the fest has any sort of thought for the next one. We haven't even decided IF there is going to be a next one.....

Again -- way to be prepared, but lets not get ahead of ourselves just yet. We have an awesome Camaro5Fest to pull off in less than two months!!! Wooo!!!

Yeh, I did. It's just that the best state of the art track is in ny. And my cars aren't coming out of the garage for a while so I'm bored. Hey, it is only brainstorming. It's not like let's do it in NY or I'll shoot you.

Sorry to rain on your parade. Have you ever heard of "The Strip" at LVMS Las Vegas not to mention a couple of tracks in Texas or even Seattle. Some of the best air on the planet for drag racing is in the nortwest.
