I dynoed on a 40 degree day with 93 Super at sea level . Some areas only have 91 octane available . I'll guess that'll lose 5 -10 hp .
What fuel did you run?

You really cannot compare dyno results from different dynos. There are WAY to many variables. Use the dyno to compare modifications and for tuning.

Just throwing this out there for comments and what not. I just ran my 2SS Camaro on a Dyno Dynamics and got 336.1HP and 342 Torque as a baseline (Bone Stock), which seems on the low end of the typical. (not complaining or anything).
I mainly want to get feedback on the Air-Fuel results I got to see if this is what others are getting stock. I will be getting a Dyno tune after I install my new headers and CAI in a couple weeks, so I'll just use for comparison. |

I installed a Hushpower axelback exhaust, basically new mufflers, they are proven to add 8hp on the dyno. I am WAITING for my Cold Air Ind. CAI. Should I get it dyno-tuned after I install the CAI? Is it worth it? Will I really notice a diff? I have to drive almost 2 hours and spend a minimum of $250 to get it dyno tuned in Joilet, IL.
Sorry if its a silly question. |

does sound a bit silly...dyno tuning will always take advantage and maximize the power output of your motor with the modifications you have done. Worth it, thats in the eye of the beholder I think. But you should always see the difference after a good dyno tune. Just my 2cents. |

I picked up a Cold Air Ind. CAI at C5fest from "the man" Ted and that piece adds 13 rwhp, 20 at the engine.

Using the weather numbers on your graph I suspect the dyno operator was using the SAE correction factor. In my opinion it is the most accurate and repeatable method available. Using the same data and appling the STD correction factor the number would be 353.7 HP.
I always take my weather station to a dyno session, get a file of actual measured data, and do my own SAE correction calculations. That way I know what happened.
