My New MTI Short Throw Shifter

At the fest, I had the honor of getting a new short throw shifter from MTI installed. All I can say is WOW!!! Its about a 25 percent shorter throw from stock and very pronounced when going into gears. This shifter is the best of both worlds, for racing and everyday driving. Thank you Kevin and all the MTI crew for taking care of my Bee!!! Also, some pics of the install are included and you can see a video of the shifter on youtube at

So you enjoying that shifter then? I liked it a lot, for a manual shifter that is excellent.....kinda wish I coulda gotten the Barton A6 shifter on Saturday too, but I will have to wait a few weeks.

Kevin,
It was my pleasure. I love this shifter and always enjoy supporting a quality and professional company. This is by far one of my best upgrades. Thanks for taking care of my Bee and it was great to meet you guys in person. If the military lets me go, I will see you at Little Talladega 10/10/10.
