Advice needed!

So I drop my Camaro off at the dealer for it's first scheduled maintanence (My first mistake). I'm told the oil will be changed and a 27 point inspection will be performed all for about $37. I'm thinking that's pretty low but maybe I'm getting some sort of deal.

I get a call 5 minutes ago from the head mechanic saying that he misquoted me, and it will cost $95, because he didn't realize "these 2010 SS's take synthetic". So I tell him F*ck that I'll change the oil myself, BUT his mechanics have already drained the oil and WOOOPSY filled it with regular non-synthetic oil, which will be changed to synthetic.

My question is what should I ask? I obviously have no trust anymore for these mechanics, and was offered 10% off! Will "flushing" the engine with non-synthetic hurt the engine in any way?

Any help appreciated! I will wait for responses before picking up my car, thanks.

you should be fine.i buy my mobil 1 at walmart and have my dealer change it.it costs me $15.00 for their labor.
by the way, make sure they also changed the filter,if they started your car.they will probably tell you they did, even if they didn't.

Mine says Mobil 1 too. And it cost $95.00 at the dealers for it. And they use the Sythetic oil in it.
