Here's a little food for thought. If this year's C5Fest took place on the west coast... How many of you Floridians and other east coast people would be arguing for it to stay in the same spot? hmmmm?

If we all go to fantasy island, then we could have every Camaro owner from 1967 until 2010 in one place. Mr. Rork will hook us up! And it's tropical.

No, absolutely not...in fact -- I move somewhere completely opposite for a while to wash the Buffalo off. I'm thinkin' maybe Texas...or California!! Then I'll be there and holding the Fest on the West will be okay!

Great idea! As you mentioned the "national" type event that doesn't move, folks should consider this, Bike Week. It's ALWAYS in Daytona, FL and folks know exactly where it will be and can plan accordingly. As mentioned before, the consistency helps. Personally, I'm willing to drive halfway across the country as long as I can get the time off because I love road trips for things like this. The drive is part of the fun, to me anyway, especially when you can caravan like some of us did to the fest. I definately think though, with the outstanding success of the very first fest, this will continue to grow rapidly and it will become a full time job for the planners. Hats off to all that helped plan and execute a first time event that seemed like it had been occurring for over 10 years! ![]()

clearly we need to have regional Camarofests....form a team of people from each region to coordinate a Camarofest in their respective areas of the country...if you want more than just a couple hundred camaros to show up...its important to have regional meets...doesnt make sense for someone from Boston to drive to GA or KS just to mingle with Camaro owners...when clearly we can do that here without burning gas and spending any money

would be great if the event was more central. I am in the north west corner of WA. I am willing to travel 1200-1500 miles but not 2400-2500 one way. Lets try to accomodate both coasts.
