from Super Chevy Magazine:

http://www.superchevy.com/features/c...ecs/index.html

Two suspension packages are offered: FE2 sport on V-6 models and FE3 performance with the V-8. The front suspension has a dual ball strut system, with a direct-acting stabilizer bar that measures 22.2 x 4 mm on FE2 and 23 x 4.2 mm on FE3. Hollow bars are used for mass savings. The front spring rates for FE2 models are 25 Nm, with wheel travel at 96 mm. FE3 models include a stiffer, 27 Nm spring rate, with wheel travel reduced at 84 mm.

Rear suspension features include high lateral stiffness for handling via three lateral ball joints per side. A sub-frame at the rear is double-isolated to minimize vehicle body motions and dampen road imperfections. The FE2 with a manual transmission includes a spring rate of 53 Nm, with wheel travel at 115 mm, and employs a limited-slip differential. The FE3 rear axle uses a limited slip differential on both manual- and automatic-equipped models; and the rear spring rate is increased to 66 Nm and wheel travel is reduced to 100 mm. Coil-over shock absorbers are used in the rear with a decoupled, hollow stabilizer bar. FE2 includes a 21.7 x 3 mm rear bar, while the FE3's large bar measures 23 x 3 mm.
Where does it say the shocks/struts are different? I havent heard that.

Really? Do you remember who's done this upgrade? How much did it help?

Well once I get my interior done, the next thing would be suspension.
Right now the car is in about 100 pieces, no interior, dash ect.
Getting ready to do all the fiberglass work for the doors and dash, then onces I get the leather kit and all the leather dash and doors done. I will start looking for suspension.
This car is sponsored by 3 companies all ready for interior stuff but this will be the first one for my shop that will be doing any form of suspension or motor work to it.

This car is not a trailer queen it will be driven to shows, cruse nights, ect and will be on display daily at the shop, so I think a lowering kit will not be a good thing missouri roads are not what you would call smooth by any means.

All that I read was the sway bars are bigger and stiffer so it will give the ride less body roll.

Did they change the springs as well or just the bars?

All 4 spring and shocks were different part numbers when I swapped my LS suspension for a 1SS suspension. My ride was 30 1/2" front and 30 5/8" rear. After the swap it is 30 1/8" all the way around. The front springs were 1/2" shorter than the V6 ones but they were also stiffer. I am happy with the outcome.. I got LS3 mufflers and the 1SS suspension for $100. The ride feels more firm than it was stock but not harsh.

Just ordered mine last week - springs & sway bars for $130 shipped.
I too have the LS3 exhaust (free) and deleted the resonator and swapped in a non resonated magnaflow x pipe where they were and it sounds great, and loud.

Took it to Drag n Brag @ Z-max 2 weeks ago and the guys liked it.

I have been looking around coil overs, sway bars, trailing arms, ect and most of them dont say if they are for v6 or v8.
For the parts you have listed there is no difference for the majority of aftermarket parts. They will all fit your V6.

People with 2012 SS's will not have options right way though will they. With the new endlink mounting locations 2010-2011 aftermarket sways wont fit. Are you guys working on something? I was thinking about upgrading the lower control arms once parts where available.
