Is it normal for this company to take weeks before shipping orders???

Yes, sure is. On anything that is custom made (floor mats, painted, carbon fiber). We custom made to order as mentioned on our website. We figure on taking a few more days to make sure the product is done right and perfect, rather than rush it out the door.

RPI is actually a great vendor for us. A lot of times items are drop shipped, and if we are back ordered a few days, it takes that much longer to get to the end user. Josh and his crew are great though, and usually answer emails and phone calls within a few hours at the latest!
Can't wait to meet everyone at C5 Fest!!!! Keep up the great work Josh.

FULL TURNAROUND FROM MY ORIGINAL POST:
JOSH WAS CORRECT, the mats had bee shipped literally the day i ordered.(good job guys at RPI) my fedex delivery guy put my package on the far side yard where noone ever goes. thank god my neighbor gave me the hihnt to look, as i look now like a complete idiot to RPI's fantastic customer service. only small thing was somebody forgot to put a few t-shirts in the mail with the mats. josh took care of it immediately, citing it as a minor error. overall- A+ with rpi designs.com FANTASTIC PRICES. i ordered some stuff from RPI, one of which i got very quickly, the second about 2 weeks later, and the first about a month later. It does take some time to make custom stuff, but it doesnt take a month to paint and ship a bowtie, and i think some prices were a little overboard.
Overall, im disappointed, but i wont go and tell everyone to NOT shop there. I know a lot of people who shop there and they all have good compliments. If you get something premade and in stock, you'll most likely get it soon. Custom made.. give it some time.

Ordered my custom embroidered car mats during XMas, got them in less than 2 weeks. Daughter just ordered the matching cargo "Camaro SS" trunk mat and I was notified that it shipped on Friday. Happy BDay and Mother's Day to me.
