Front bowtie will come right off. Get a good grip and slowly pull and she comes right off.

LOL^^^^ what he said. the rear is a bit trickier , but you can use a plastic bondo spreader , personally ive never had luck with the fishing wire .

Hey just removed mine last night sorry the iphone picture isn't better but there are 4 tabs holding the front emblem in place. Two in the middle and one on each end, just a pain to get to if you dont have little hands, replaced mine with the black bowtie

I wanted the T-Rex Grille, but then I found out that the bowtie had to be removed, but if it this easy to remove maybe I'll get it.

I did the same thing, removed the gold bowties.
I took the bowties to a shop and they painted them Inferno Orange. Looks awsome. Easy and cheap mod. Good luck..!! |

It will pull off. Put on some work gloves to protect your hands from sharp edges. Get a nice firm grip, and slowly but firmly start to pull it off. At first it may seem like it will not come, but it will. Don't jerk it however, just pull firmly and slowly.
