Got my cat back Magnaflow installed today.

Wow, huge difference in tone. 100% better and much better than I was expecting.

Also looks 100% better with those trash cans under the diffuser gone.

Not sure how deep you want it to sound, but the Magnaflows sound pretty deep, especially compared to stock.

I'm leaning towards the Magnaflow as well.
I think I'm gonna purchase #16580-Stainless Cat back Performance System.
Do you recall which part number you went with...???

Do you have a V8? If not, the 16583 is the V6 cat-back and the 16584 is the axle-back

It is a great system. Mine is a Cat back also and I have had no problems with mine. I think there are more times when the radio is off and I just listen to the engine as I run through the gears.

Had to do one slight adjustment with mine since the install to get rid of a slight rattle on hard bumps, but that is gone now.

It's a well made premium product and with the Camaro5 Vendors willing to deal on them, I thought it was money well spent.

Hey Dad - try an advanced search (top right on tool bar) on "magnaflow" somebody might have posted video and sound. When I get a little more time I'll look around as well. But, I think its one you are looking for. Welcome to the site you will find it and the people very helpful and freindly. Good group

I just put on the Doug Thorley shorty headers and a CAI (Injen) and that gave my car a nice deep throaty sound. I had my Chevy dealership do the install (they also installed my cat-back) so no worries about warranty issues. Good luck finding what you are looking!

P.S. There are videos of my car on a dyno in the "Your Dyno Numbers" thread in this section if you are curious about the sound.
