Thanks Revo.....so it sounds like the is the thing to do.

Though wow, I thought it would take a head tilt, wink, and blowing a kiss to communicate "I want to jump your bones" it's apparently much simpler.

See you learn something on C5 everyday!

We are all programmed to think that if a girl is interested in us that she'll smile at us.

If any guy thinks he has a chance and follows you just because you wave and smile, hes crazy.

The other day I was in my truck and 3 really good lookin girls are at a stop light (in a REALLY nice Audi.. I was kinda jealous) and one starts yelling "HEY" to me and waving. I'm not about to follow her though, thats creepy. A smile and a wave is fine I think, nothing flirty about that given the circumstance.

I'm going to do the thing from here on out. They can ignore me or not do anything back, but I guess that is the best way for me to acknowledge that I think their car is cool too.

As for other Camaros of any generation and Corvettes- they always get a smile and a wave from me.

I've only had my car since Saturday, so I haven't had too many "run-ins" with others (especially in my neck of the woods, I live in the country). But generally speaking, if I'm in traffic at a red light, I usually don't look around. I think it's a "don't make eye contact and they won't bother you" kind of mentality, for females at least. If I do notice someone looking and we make eye contact, I'll just give the nod. I guess a full on wave or a smile seems a bit too flirty to me, and I'm not conservative, believe me lol. If they wave or smile first, then I will definitely give one back in return. I will give the half wave thing from the steering wheel when passing another Camaro also.

Had an older guy come up to me at the gas station yesterday while giving the love of my life it's first fill-up, he asked how much I paid (in a half-joking manner) so I obliged him then we started talking about it. I let him look inside of it etc, he was quite impressed and said it was the 1st time he had been so close to one. Getting ready to leave, I noticed a younger kid/guy sitting in his truck on the other side of the pump, waiting for me to leave. I guess he wanted to hear what it sounded like, he never looked at me though, just stared at the car lol so I didn't acknowledge him, just left.

Roknroll!

At least that way there's no confusion about what it is you're looking at. I don't know anybody that would actually give chase due to something like this, most guys will just drive away feelin good about themselves, and their car.

My story is actually very sweet and simple, but he was definitely flirting.

And I agree, I wave to other Camaros, even all other muscle cars, as a gesture of solidarity and most guys do as well, but I have had a few that end up following me or wanting to race or just wanting to chat going down the road. That is really not cool at all. I have had a few try and follow me home, but I usually drive in in another direction until they get tired, lol!
