Fuse pull question

My buddy by mistake put 89 in my car today before I went out to the track. I noticed my overall mph in the 1/4 mile dropped 3-4mph. I was trapping at 99-100mph, when on friday I was at 103-104mph.

Anyway, question is, do I need to do a fuse pull to reset the computer, or will it do it on its own? I have already burned all the 89 out and then burned another 3/4 tank of 91. Has the computer recognized that it's 91 again, or is a fuse pull 100% necessary.

Thanks.

I would do the fuse pull just in case. It can't hurt.

I did my fuse pull back in September and left it out for a few hours and there was a noticeable difference after everything reset and I out some miles on it.

I would fill it up with 91 and remove the fuse pull over night and put it back on in the morning. That's what i did with mine.

Because there's no reason to get modded until I can get the full potential out of my stock car. I have run a 13.3 and ever since haven't been able to run anywhere near.

Before I mod out my car, I want to figure out if GM and mags were right that this is a low 13 car.

from what ive read the fuse pull resets it right away. you could just wait for it to do it on its own its the same thing. it will feel a little underpowered until the timing tables are reset either way.

+1

after a tank or two it will be back to normal. but a fuse pull would speed up the process.

PQ had one of the original A6s that was running sluggish. Him and Scott B. (and a few others) did enough complaining that the GM engineers came to Scotts house and gave the car a check-up. That how we learned about the fuse pull.

so yea... PQ is joking

Edit: <--- to slow
