Yep, that would have been a nice option to have.

GM will need to tweak the tranny a little if they want to get a little more aggressive with gearing. Otherwise it might actually slow the SS down.

Point is that cars with all of that technology cost more to upgrade and upgrades have less of an effect. Ford has squeezed most of the power out of their 5L whereas there is still plenty more power to be found in the 6.2L of the camaro

And in my opinion chevy needs to respond to the mustang not only with its new 5.0L but with its mile long list of performance options. If chevy offers the equlivent of the trak pak with upgraded sways strut tower bars etc then we will have a good fight on our hands. Oah yea and chevy put the camaro on a diet

Lol @ chally winning. When will this happen?

The 2011 Mustang 5.0s are reaching the same rwhp numbers as the Camaro SS with similar mods.

people, by people i mean companies trying to sell products (like steeda), are gaining as much as 40 hp with intake and tune. companies like American muscle are getting a more reasonable 20. i think thats responding well to mods

You wouldn't want to do that, it might actually be a real muscle car
