How did you 'rev mines' when you have an automatic? Did you put it in neutral or apply the brakes?

Get some long tube headers and a good catback exhaust then your engine will roar.
I think he was more afraid of the fact that you were driving a 426hp Camaro SS and he was most likely driving a previous generation 300 hp Mustang GT.

The Camaro SS is bad axx, but the stock exhaust really isn't all that impressive to say the least. I watched a guy rev his 2010 Camaro SS at a car show and everyone was like
I that it?

Cops are looking for the other race he was racing. Looking at the car, I don't know how either of them are alive..

Don't Succum To Street Racing... Please.. Life is short.
This is the reason why people do what they do. I know I dont want to be 70 and wish I would have done something different. I do not race on a 2 way road ever, but I will run it up with someone till 100-110mph on a 4 lane highway, but I dont go any higher than that. I also never start the race, and only race cars I think may beat me. I also am at the track alot so I get the speed out of my system for the most part.

Had BMW on 401 following me and kept racing up to my bumper over and over.... Thats about it..... but i opened up the rocket to 220 and noticed him falling back fast!!! boc boc ..... ya stupid i know but i live life and have no regrets
I pulled into slow lane and let them pass after and noticed the big thumbs up from driver and passsenger........ lol

I wouldn't read too much into that. People have been saying that for years for all sorts of car. I've heard people say the same for the 4.6L Mustang...they were wrong, I've heard for the 4-cylender turbo'd cars...they were wrong too. Besides that I read somewhere a bolt on Mustang was running low 12's. There's more than one way to make a good performance engine, it doesn't have to have large displacemnt to modify well.

This is the only point I was trying to make.

If you look at the GT boards you will see them race on runways from a roll, and you always know after the race who has the faster car. They usually race from 20 to 120. Ather the race no one is changing air pressure or trying different launch techniques to go faster, simply mash the gas and go.
I have to agree with you. GTBOARDS has done a great job of testing these high-performance cars, and after 120 it's painfully clear which car is faster; the one who leaves the other behind. That was my thing with the Mustang 5.0 vs the SS, sure...the 5.0 may beat the SS in a 1/4 mile if it has a pretty decent driver but after that I see the SS catching the 5.0 and leaving it behind on the high end.

Even in MotorTrends drag-race of the BIG 3, the 5.0 did win, but any person watching can see it didn't do it by much, the SS was dead on it's bumper and or a little bit past it and closing in fast then the race ends. I would have loved to see what would have occurred if the race continued. The 1/4 mile is the contest nearly everyone uses to determine which car is faster but like previously said, your quarter mile time depends upon your launch, driver skill, and traction, but from a 20-120mph+ roll, throw that out of the window, the faster car will always pull ahead and past the slower car, despite whatever cars 1/4 mile time.

Roll racing is for ricers... the 1/4 is where you race.
This comment is silly. GTBOARDS testing beyond the quarter mile...for a reason.

Take the limiter off both cars, otherwise stock, and see which one will run the fastest mph. Then you will know which car is faster, as you want to define faster.

I've only been egged on by 4th gens & pickup trucks LOL.
At this point I don't even bother paying attention to them. I'd rather they pull ahead and get away from me.
