I am sitting between 273 and 268 RHP depending on the weather that day on the dyno with my ARH setup. Combine that with the need to shut your ears and bystanders assuming that I have a v8 because of how aggressive my car sounds, its worth the money

Alot of people wonder what happens when primary sizes go up or down on LTs. There's also questions what is the difference between the BBK design and the ARH design, mainly because BBKs come straight out and the ARH are about as curvy as Jennifer Lopez. How does that affect the performance gains on these V6s? I feel like I know the answers, but I don't want to sound like I am talkin out of my butt. Thanks!

My shorty headers made ~5rwhp over stock, my long tubes added another ~16rwhp over the shorties. Torque numbers are in the same ball park.

dyno to dyno will be different, but one member here showed a 12 hp/tq improvement with DT shorties, while LTs are typically making at least 15 to 20 HP/TQ or more depending on the RPM range.

Okay, I'l go look at those.
Again though, our shorty headers aren't true shorty. They are midlength, and I'd guess that on the right dyno day, a 12rwhp gain isn't out of the question. I'd like to see his car with hiflows and longtubes dyno'd. I'd wager he'd see more then an additional 5rwhp over the DT shorties!! Just looked, the 13rwhp gain was at 4300rpm, not peak with the DTs. My 5rwhp was a peak number. As the rpms climb, the DTs lose their advantage, but the dyno was cut off a few rpm short of redline, so the DTs show a loss of 2rwhp at peak, but a gain in torque. If the car was allowed to redline, I'd imagine he would have seen a similar gain of around 5-8rwhp over stock at peak. |

Longtubes, for the money, are going to produce way more horsepower then shorty headers. I gained 16 peak over my shorty headers, which gained 5 peak over stock. That's a gain of 21rwhp, plus or minus for weather. |

Does anyone have a set of Doug Thorley shortys installed? Any pictures of the installed headers?
