Doesn't void any warranty besides, as previously mentioned, your mufflers being cut off...

The shop i used here had already done several and knew exactly what i wanted. Just tell them you want the mufflers cut out and straight pipe welded in. you can even re-use the stock tips as well.

If you want a cheap way to get sound...this is it. with the m6 there's some drone, but minimal in my opinion. You don't void anything that's still on the car... so i don't know why i you wouldn't want to.

Charged me 60 bucks cash here for the swap. Hope this helps!

Go through my thread and you'll understand more about what to do and what gets removed.

I would do the X-pipe as well but you don't have to. If you don't do the x-pipe then have them just remove the rear mufflers.

Dude. For real. We are just playing. Your question is PERFECTLY valid. None of us knew this stuff till we asked.

Sorry if we made you feel awkward. It wasn't our intention.

Thing about just removing the mufflers on the V6 is .... well....it sounds just like you just removed the mufflers.

Don't do straights on the 6. You can get much much better results with a custom muffler setup for a couple hundred more bucks than the cost of labor for the straight mod. Save up and then go for it!

If money really isn't an issue, then you can spend even more and go for a Camaro designed axle-back or cat-back. (which may not necissarily sound any better than a thought out custom setup....its just easier!)

Its all in the research you do and what YOU like! Want some help....I've provided it. Go to the V6 section and check out the exhaust sticky I maintain there.

Good luck!
