Only real difference is nitrogen is more dense and wont leak as fast from the tire as oxygen especially when its sitting still in the colder months
I was just asking because I'm pretty sure my tires have nitrogen in them and i recently got a flat tire and had no choice but to put air in the tire. So i wanted to know if that was bad for the tire.

I don't have to pay for nitrogen in my tires. My dealer takes care of that for me whenever I need it.

If I ever had a flat then I would just call Chevy roadside assistance and have it towed to the dealer. Got it with my factory warranty so might as well put it to good use.

In my situation I wasn't going to have it towed. I have an air compressor at my house and from there I took it to a tire place to get a tire plug in. When I go to the dealer for my next service appointment, i'll just ask them there if nitrogen was put into the tires.

Do you have green valve stem caps? If so then they put nitro in it.

Then yes, more likely than not, you have nitrogen in your tires. I'm not sure if they do it at the factory or at the dealer, though.

They don't do it at the factory. It's a dealer gimmick. It's a moneymaker for the dealer. It's something the dealer offers, which is fine. Just politely decline.

I use Nitrous Oxide in my tires. 50 shot in each tire. That way I dont' have to worry about drivetrain loss, that power is straight to the ground baby!
