IMO, chevy builds better vehicles, and ford builds better engines, but how fast do you really need to go? Before a hater says ford motors are crap that dont make any power and have to have a blower to keep up with a chevy... HERE ARE THE FACTS...

Modular Motor>Pushrod.... Ford engines have typically been built with higher quality parts. For example, a 4.6L 3V mustang engine has the bolt on ability to produce as much power, bolt on to bolt on as a 5.7L ls6. Due to low compression, and a strong rotaing assymbly. A blown stock bottom 4.6L 3v can make the same power, maybe more than a blown stock bottom Ls6. LS6 can only handle 7-10psi max.

We all know how much power a 4.6 4v DOHC cobra engine can make. At 281ci this motor was the craziest thing to hit the car market since the 426hemi.

The holy grail ford motor, the 5.4L 4v DOHC GT500/GT powerplant is quite simply----THE MOST CAPABLE MASS PRODUCED ENGINE TO EVER HIT THE MARKET. THIS ENGINE, UNTOUCHED---CAN MAKE 1000+RWHP ON RACE GAS AND STAY TOGETHER, JUST ADD MASSIVE BOOST.

I dont hate on stangs. I was close to buying 2010 which so glad I didnt I would of been so pissed if next year v6 came out with almost same hp. (didnt get because dealer wouldnt install ford racing supercharger kit. Got pissed at ford. So got camaro that was alot faster then 2010 mustang. Plus mine & GF's opinion Camaro nicer looking.
Actually the 2011 mustang to camaro is a drivers race. They r close enough that if you are a better driver (better launch and faster shifter) you can win.
and 4.6L GTs I beat with my SRT4 with just a exhaust and intercooler. I see the 4.6s running 13.6 to 13.9 at my track stock when I ran 13.2 to 13.3 at my track stock. Never got to see any stock 2011's run yet. I think I saw one but couldn't confirmed 5.0 badge on side. He ran a 13.2.

Oh yea.. I think I can blow the door off most 5.0 Mustangs so why would I get embarrassed. And since average driver sucks Im sure when I was stock I would tie or beat GT mustang. ( i run into so many drivers that shift slow and just blow tires off on launch)

Just to add Im glad ford finally beefed up bottom end up engine. 5.0s pretty stout motor.

Don't deny it guys. There is a few haters on the site, that doesn't mean you in specific. He's targeting the idiots who are butthurt by the 5.0 engine. To be honest. I don't car what brand is better as long as we are topping the imports right? You guys are a freindly community towards Stang fans, and I appreciate that. Just don't make bogus arguments.
