This is so dumb that we have camaro fans hating on each other over camaros...focus your efforts on mustang owners or civic si owners if anything!

There's nothing wrong with the V6. I am the owner of an SS LS3, and I do most of my driving in town. There are not very many opertunities I have to use the power on my SS. Most of the time, I don't even get the RPM's past 2000-2200, so in reality, the V6 is a pretty good deal. You can make the v6 look pretty sick as well, for less than what an SS cost.

Muscle car
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Muscle car is a term used to refer to a variety of high performance automobiles.[1][2] The term generally refers to American 2-door rear wheel drive mid-size cars, and sometimes full-size cars equipped with large, powerful, V8s, and sold at an affordable price for street use and both formal and informal drag racing. -------------------------------------------------------- |

The V6 is a great car. It's personal choice. Not everyone buys for power.
The thing I don't understand are V6 owners that spend $5,000 on mods to get more power....

lol @ most of this thread especially the guy who's dad bought him an SS and he's in here trying to hate. come on brother, don't you think if daddy was buying my car for me i'd love to have an SS? i'll make my payments on the V6 because that's how it is. i had a budget and worked within my budget, i'm not a moron about to drop all my money on my car.
brb, building up my bank account while still paying all my bills including a car that looks just as good as yours. oh, you can beat me in a race? that's nice, too bad nobody cares |

It's just gonna get worse when the Z28 comes out..... SS becomes the middle child but the Camaro V6 gets even lower in the totem pole..... even lower than the Mustang V6. :(
respect to the guys who defended their V6 car vehemently and rationalized to hell why the V6 was better, then only to trade to a SS but men enough to keep the same username and post their defection. Woulda coulda shoulda.
