In the title it says 03 in your post it says 2000. If it's a stock 2000 then you beat it pretty bad, if it's a terminator than you better get ready. I have seen multiple trap 114-115 stock.

It sounds to me like the kid doesn't have a clude, could be a V6. I'd say ignore them and move on.

Did you even pay attention to what I said? Someone said that a 03/04 cobra is a 13.4 car, which is far from true. I was just stating that you should not listen to magazines. If you read further, I said that the l99 would lose and that the ls3, it would be close, but my money would be on the cobra, seeing how it is 6 years old, and it is very hard to believe that in that 6 years, no one modded it, and that the other kid is probably not fessing up to something.

Ok either you are going to win by a lot or lose by a lot. As mentioned before THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 2000 MUSTANG SVT COBRA. There is a 1999 and a 2001, no 2000. And those have 320 hp @ the flywheel, stock. But they really waken up with exhaust mods. The only thing that had the word cobra on it, in 2000, was the Mustang Cobra R. And he does not have one of those, I can almost assure you of that. If by some act of god, he does, you will probably lose.

Not really. If you have an L99, and he has a stick, that means (provided you go to a private road or track) if you race and go from a roll, he will have an edge... even if you have a faster car. Race right. Go from a dead stop, try not to spin, and watch him light his tires up and go nowhere, because spinnin aint winnin.

How do you know? Perhaps the Mustang driver can drive for crap! Or perhaps he can't get the car to hook? Completely blows his launch

For example my 4 day old, 100% stock V6... The Mustang GT should have easily won... but my buddy blew the launch and my car won! And in my book a win is a win! BTW the 15 sec run was due to the 30+ head wind and car was heat soaked like an SOB... we were having fun! LOL

seems like he pulled you pretty good especially for a convertible cobra. Also, sounds like that guy cant really drive that well, his 2-3 shift took almost a full second!!!! wow

Sounds like a trip to the nearest drag strip is in order. Be careful, a novice losing his control of his car and taking out your baby is a very real possibility. I would pick the 2003? Cobra to win by a few car lengths, they are pretty mean machines.
