Um... I suppose I shouldn't mention that it never took me longer than 48 hours after the release of a new book (I got each book after the first at midnight on release day) to finish it.

I read Deathly Hallows in one sitting on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't want to put it down but the ending was bittersweet since I knew there would be no more books.

Definitely a difficult parting. I think I read the last word for like... an hour straight.

I went back and read the last 10 pages or so like 3 or 4 times.

I plan on reading it again a week before the movie comes out.

I can't wait for Deathly Hallows. I'm going to this one in IMAX.

I have never seen a movie in 3D but this might be worth it....
It's almost as exciting as C5Fest!!

Well, he said up front that the movies would get shorter, not longer. Seems stupid since the books get longer but...
I was also a bit disappointed with Half Blood Prince since the WHOLE concept of the book is finding out who the prince is -- and that seemed to be such a minor bit in the film.

I'll be honest with Deathly Hallows -- I don't think a book has ever made me cry like that - especially right from the beginning. JK Rowling did an amazing thing with these books and characters.

Really? I books
If a favorite author doesn't have a new book out I have to go search for some new series or something. I think I'm reading like 4 books at this point in time...

I had a rough childhood, was told I have a learning disability; which is bull. I thinking it undiagnosed ADHD. I Can't read books unless it really interesting. Hell, I get bored of some long threads on Camaro5. Haha I'm not dumb, I just can't concentrate...

I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan!!! Like many of your I've read them all a bunch of times, in fact I'm in the middle of re-reading the last one before the movie comes out. I'm hoping since it's 2 parts that this will be the best movie yet!

Also just read the other day that JK hasn't completely dismissed the idea of another HP book...
