I had a 2000 C5 and LOVED that car... but I have to say I would never have taken it over my new camaro. I think the new camaro is a better car and fit for me over the C5, but a C6 ZO6 now thats a different story

But I cant afford one.

Have owned a 2001, 2003 50th vert and 2006 Procharged A6 cpe which I just traded. I had owned camaro's prior to the 2001. Both great cars, just want something different. I am retire navy and that check has been my toy car since the child supp stopped 2000. Probably would have never stepped up to a vette. Anyway, have always been a fan of Callaway but never could afford the leap. Then he started doing the Camaro again 2010. WOW what a car. Perhaps not as fast as the vette top end but I'm just a 1/4 mile fan. The mucle car rumble and low end torque is awesome. So NO regrets trading.

@4K and the 2SS/RS is more comfortable than a Z06, and puts down 432 rwhp. Cam, headers, full Kooks exh. and tune. The idle will have you wishing it were yours. And all for less than 40K, car included. Insurance is less than 100.00 per month. Do that with a Z06.

I have owned 2 C4s, a C5 and a C6. Couldnt be happier with my decision to get rid of them.

My last Vette, C5 Z06, sold it privately then went with the '10 SS. Vette pricing went rediculous with the C6's, so no more of those for me. Perfectly happy with the Camaro now, and another one in a couple years.

Vettes are so expensive here in Canada, a base Vette is at least $75,000, Z06 some $125,000. plus taxes (15%).
I was waiting to buy a used C6 Z06 when I sold my oldie. But when I saw the first Gen5 photos I decided to wait for a deal. Which I got last april.

My oldy was 1979, L-82 -4 speed M21. Yellow in black interior. This car was GM Corvette poster in 79. Sold it @ 65,000 miles only in 05. No winter, no rain for 26 years.

I've been patient meanwhile and bought a house and now my 2LT-RS.

I recently traded my C4 for a 2010 2SS. Best move ever. The Corvette looks great but after 25 years it was getting on. My Inferno SS is the bomb!!!

I wish I had the cheese to own both.... I am in the wrong biz. the only vette I have owned was a c4, back then it was a very nice ride but nothing compared to a c6

I traded a 2003 convert for the Synergy. Always been a Chevy guy. Can't afford a new one so after 6 Vettes of around 5 years old each, I decided new is nice so I'm in this. Been almost a year and I still love it. If I fall out of love in another year, I'll probably go to a 3 year old C6.

Sold a 2009 C6 a couple months ago and picked up a camaro two weeks ago. Like many have said, the camaro is just a better everyday car.

My wife has a 2010 Rally Yellow 2SS/RS 6M Camaro and I have a 2006 LeMans Blue Corvette 3LT 6M Coupe, the best of both worlds!
