Solo, solo, solo. Gotta make that bond w/ the Camaro first. Once I've driven around for a bit and gotten to know her, then I'll introduce her to the wife and kids. hehehehehehehehe

That's gonna be hard...either your gonna have to brake all the time, or he's gonna have to try real hard to keep up! lol

Haha, good point. Luckily he's got some plans to squeeze some more horses out of his LS2. I guess that only time will tell.

My current plan is to drive over to the dealer in my 68 Camaro with my dad, do a walk-around, learn her lines, then introduce big sis to little sis......haven't talked my dad into driving the 68 back home yet, so, my friend/mechanic who's the only other person I would let drive her will probably tag along to drive the 68 back home......after a few photos of the girls together, I plan to make my exit to get the new Camaro out on the road by myself and get to know her and form our bond.

I'll have to go solo on this one. Roll down the windows, turn off the music, and listen to the car's exhaust roar. Want the V8 obviously :$

Solo for me. I might let my g/f ride with me as I drive it off the lot but under a few conditions which will be explained as such.

"Sit down, shut up and hang on tight. I want no screaming, no whimpering. The exhaust will be loud but I know you won state vocal competitions. No ear piercing today until we're home."

Then I'll drive normally till we hit a freeway where I'll open her up to redline through 1st, and 2nd and see where it goes from there.

Hehe speaking of girlfriends....I finally told her I bought me a Harley. She was pissed because I never bothered to get a new couch, dining room table, and an engagement ring for her. Oh, wait til she finds out that I'm buying the Camaro before all of that too. :P Don't need a couch or dining room table, I'm not even home to use it!

My toys come first.

Why would you buy all those things if you're not married? Wouldn't she chip in for those besides the rock?

As a female, I have to agree. It's not fair for you to pay for everything (besides the ring of course lol)

Deffinately with my dad. When I call home, all we talk about is the Camaro. I know I'm not gonna be ready to get out when he is, so then it will be time for my solo ride... Hopefully I'll still have enough tires to take that solo ride... LOL

Oh...I know, her excuse is that I make more than her, doesn't fly with me. Things shared should be bought shared. My wants are more priority over hers when it comes to my own money being spent, something she doesn't understand. But! to complain about the girlfriend would be for me to totally start a whole new topic at another forum, lol.
