The one you are referring to has the Camaro running slower than alot of other tests, so I don't put alot of stock into that test.

13.0 @ 110.7 is slower than a lot of other tests? Most every test has been 12.9-13.1 for the LS3 SS.

And thats not the only test.

The edmunds test had the camaro faster. (but had another 5.0 they tested on a totally different day that was basically a tie....but the head to head test the SS was faster)

And I thought their were more still...but dont feel like looking.

So what you have seen and what you put stock into seem to be very different. Which is understandable....but dont say it didnt happen etc.

I'm glad somebody else is finally posting realistic numbers.... as many here seem to be in outer space half the time with the numbers they're posting....

I didn't say it didn't happen, just that I didn't put alot of stock in that particular test.

You are aware the fastest 'real world' stock 1/4 mile for a 5.0 is faster than the fastest stock time seen on a stock Camaro, right? And I believe that run was in an auto with the stock gears (3.31s). And yet the Camaros have been out longer.

I can't stand when people making any argument talk out of their butt.

Lets see dynos, videos, links, pics of pink slips.... anything! While no test is going to be the same across the board, you can at least give a source. Any ahole can say...

"I ran my camaro this weekend and ran under 10"

but in the end they just look like an idiot begging for attention.

The 5.0 has hit 12.3 stock now. The camaro has hit 12.5 stock. No surprises their. These are far from the norm though.

I am very aware of the real world numbers etc.

And yes I realize the 5.0 is faster. I already said that earlier

What do you mustang guys want from us?

Do I need to sell my camaro, get baptized and then go buy a new 5.0 for you guys to be happy?

Thats what nobody on here wants to believe...... Ive been saying it..... Go to your local track and the real world numbers are CONSISTANTLY 12.8 to 13.2 stock... Both Camaro and 5.0's

Perfect example of a car like that would be the L88 Corvette
Ford has a better example and its called the Super Cobra Jet which runs 8's from the factory and is on sale right now, and it WAS intended to go drag racing. You can imagine all the R&D ends up in the production cars. Google it if you haven't heard about it.

Ladies and Gentlemen...I present to you one of the earliest known images of the Ford Mustang GT, from the late 18th century. As you can clearly see, horsepower is up but not much has changed in the way of the rear suspension. Ford continues to set the bar high!!!!
