The 475hp I was referring to was the Cobra Jet's advertised hp.

With only 10 Challengers being built its safe to say it gonna be a collector only car vs the few hundred of Super Cobra Jets out there which actually race. Still a killer ride.

I checked out the Cobra Jet and died laughing when I saw the advertised HP rated between 425-475. Who are they trying to kid? That beast has a hell of a lot more power on tap than that running a 4.0L Whipple. It was definitely a wicked machine though.

Yes, currently the fastest stock 5.0 time is a little faster than the fastest stock Camaro time, but they're very close. There's no way its a gauranteed win for the 5.0.
The last time I was at the track (about 3 weeks ago) there was a guy with a new 5.0 Mustang GT and his times were waaaayyyyy slower than the times everyone is always bragging about for stock Mustang 5.0s

A well driven stock Camaro SS is going to beat a lot of stock 5.0s.

This is the same as we see as well... I have no reason to make up anything... just say that both cars are 13.0 cars stock.... that's a equal average number.

I have yet to see a new 5.0 run any faster than a 13.0... that was a white auto about 3 months ago. The video I posted on the other thread has a new 5.0 getting off the line just a tad slower than the SS and it ran a 14..... with more mods
