Well done trying to stretch the truth with your wording.

Nice scale...a whole .2 spread? Thats not even the point.

Chill out dude.

you said the average was 12.6 to 12.8.

Therefore 12.6 would be an average time for the car.

12.6 is far from an average time.

Your wording needs to be fixed.

More to it than just the car dude and all the power in the world does you little good if you don't have the skill to put it down. Believe it or not Camaros have lost races to Mustangs and I guess all the videos of guys running 11's and 12's in bolt on 2011 Mustangs are fake. I was unable to see any 1/4 mile times in your vids.
Hey this is after all, first and foremost a Camaro forum, so there is noway a Mustang could ever beat a Camaro.

Have a great weekend guys!!
Well... let me help you understand this... those videos are of a Camaro beating an obvious SC'd Mustang with the whining noise... unless the muffler bearing is goin bad .. anyway the Camaro with the mods i posted was running between 12.8 and 13.0... so that sums up the average for the mustangs as well.... they don't run anywhere as fast as you guys think... its posted in multiple videos... look at his youtube account, he has like 50 videos of all of us at the track... we lose some and win some, but all the cars in his video are running 12.8 to 13.5's consistantly.

This is the way I see every Camaro vs Mustang ending..

The mustang lover should get out and thank the camaro lover for getting Ford off their lilly arse to produce something that even resembles a pony car. Ford has been screwing their fan base for so long now they even quit using lube and no one even noticed.

No use in arguing....be more productive having a conversation with yourself in the mirror.

Took our Challenger to the track last night. Ran a 13.66@103. Pretty impressive IMO:

Bone stock. Right on par with the Camaro SS's here who have CAI's and exhausts.

Converter, cam, exhaust, tune and some drag radials will net low 12's/high 11's. How many Camaro owners would that piss off? 4,000lbs. car running better times than most S/C SS's.

What in gods name possessed you to post all this trash? Are you on a personal vendetta against the camaro now or what? jesus christ...

Are you seriously on here bragging about a 13.6 @ 103?

A camaro SS needs CAI and exhaust to run 13.6 @ 103? What is this 1993? is it an lt-1 now?

Are you serious about a camaro not being capable of low 12/high 11's with an exhaust/tune/converter/cam and a tire?

The L99 has went as fast as 11.7 WITHOUT a cam.....where have you been?

And then pick out some people who run slow 12's with superchargers because they are not hooking?

WOW...just WOW

And then turn around and claim that a camaro can not do exactly what it has done plain as day in the fast list? (and something you have not done with your challenger) And then pick out some people who run slow 12's with superchargers because they are not hooking?

What is your problem?

have you been drinking man?

seriously....

this is probably the most retarded post I have ever seen you make....

Really? I am comparing times posted from Camaro owners on the same track with the mods I listed. CAI's, cat backs, and even canned tunes.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110185

Feel free to read through. I expect a little better from a owner/forum member.

Yes I am ribbing a bit...but not much.

I just read it. Some guy ran a 14.1 with a 2.25 60 foot.

Another guy ran a 13.4 @ 104 with a bad 60 foot.

So now you are trying to tell me that you have now made a conclusion on the performance of the camaro and challenger R/T as a whole after one track session and only this given groups track experience?

Im asking you again.

Is this some kind of a joke?

You calling your fellow brethren out for being terrible drivers?

I can't speak for that. Results speak for themselves.

It's obvious that they weren't the best, and they should have no shame for admitting it either; we're not all Ken Blocks. (I'm not either, my first time out on the track and I was hitting 2.3-2.1 60' foots!)

BTW, "So now you are trying to tell me that you have now made a conclusion on the performance of the camaro and challenger R/T as a whole after one track session and only this given groups track experience?" That was a nice question you did not answer.

He even replied in the thread and told the guy it was a traction issue etc.

Now he plays Jekyll and Hyde...posts a vid of him on the same track 3 months later and then calls out all camaros etc.

I expected a lot more from him.

I am still thinking this is some kind of a joke/he is not completely serious.

Not even sure why I responded to his obvious bait/argument starting material.

Get real. The s197s with the 4.6 3V engines were/are great cars. 300hp and 320lb/ft of torque stock, they ran mid 13s stock, and they were very mod friendly. And for as cheap as ~$27k. No one who bought those cars got screwed. Ford could have just kept the 4.6 2V 260hp engine in it since there was no Camaro or Challenger to compete with it until 2009-2010.

I love how you bash Ford for not "getting off their lilly arse to produce something that even resembles a pony car" when Chevy didn't even produce the Camaro from 2003-2009. At least Ford produced something.
