If you have a passenger, they're sitting on the beach towels... so no problem.

If you don't have a passenger, remove the beach towels and put them on the back seat so you can't see them.

There ya go.

I'm not sure what a washer under the seat might do in an accident? Maybe squish .000001th of an inch? Raised mine over a year ago, still no issues with the "800 sensors", whatever that means.

You can wait for them to fix it, just don't hold your breathe. It took a year and half for a simple rear spoiler rubber washer bulletin. Redesign the seat on a past model? Never going to happen.
We were strongly advised to not do this by air bag and seat design engineers as it is dangerous and not proven out in crash testing. I then reversed my seat mod.
I was told "wait for an approved seat modification".

Give me a break. Maybe some of you do not go back as far on this issue as I have.

That's a good option

Drivers seat has a pump adjustable height lever.

Sort of one of the reasons why I no longer have my camaro. My passengers complained all the time about how low the seat was. And it is IMHO. You would think they would have atleast added a pump system or something to raise it a bit. If that was too expensive for them they should have made it a fixed height but just like two inches or so higher.

If the passenger does not like it, tell them to walk. My wife is 5 foot and she never once said anything about it, but then again I have a 11 2SS/RS so maybe its different.

If I were to complain about anything on this car, it would be the fact that sometimes I just don't want people talking to me about it every time I stop somewhere. I mean geez, its a camaro, not like its some million dollar exotic.

Scott is a great guy, and keeper of the Fbody flame for sure...but he's not in charge of the Camaro development or engineering....

if it's a big deal go aftermarket. I didn't care for the stock exhaust...so I put a new one on. Many fellow 5th genr's do. Put some thought and effort in your car, you'll find it more rewarding in the long run.....

You no longer have your Camaro because of the PASSENGER SEAT ? Really ? That's pretty hardcore there........

B) We also were told not to do our own modifications for safety reasons and the seat had "800" sensors".

C) Also told a pillow could be used, I used doubled up Beach towels.

D) I personally verified a corrected passenger seat on the 2011's and was advised by Dealer Service that changes were made to the lower seat rail height.

OK SCott AKA Fbodfather can only do so much, He is Not OFFICALLY part of the Camaro project. He can forward your complaint to the people who handles those but beyond that its out of his hands.

he may of said they were working on it, NEVER Promisied that he was WORKING ON IT.

Seeing the drivers side has a manual pump to raise and lower the seat, why couldn't they produce a right hand version for the passenger seat ? Seems like an easy fix to me ... I bet if some after market company made one, they would make a good buck off them.
