If you want to race a terminator or even the new 5.0 do it from a dig. Most of these cars have no prayer for traction unless a full drag radial or slick is used, this is why they always want to race from a roll, ask me how I know, I was one of them...

The 2011 mustangs dominate the camaro's from a dig because of their SRA.

This is also why the 05-10 mustangs with 3.73 gears can keep up with the new camaros for first and second gear, then get pulled hard up top.

April 15-16, all-day long at the Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, AZ.

There'll be drag racing, autocross, a road-course event hosted by Pfadt (I dunno if there are any spots left open), a car show, vendors alley (with a metric $h!t-ton of cool stuff), and...Chevy's coming by way of the Camaro team!!!

Last year we had nearly 500 Cars come out 99% of which were 5th gen Camaros, and about 1000 people. This year is handsomely turning out to be much bigger.

my woman is a chevy girl....i mention it because, we were on the interstate driving back from my parents house, and i dropped a few gears and laid it to the floor. i passed the Deville quite briskly, and she threatened to get her own fast chevy if i did that again.

i offered her a SS and she said no. we'll see. i want the CTS-v, but she may want something else. she's had a few camaro's and a vette. dunno. i certainly wouldnt show up in my 2011gt.

It's happened before....you'll find that the "keyboard" effect is 90% of the reason for the intense rivalry here. When you meet everyone in person, it's all great fun.

It does look pretty sharp and I love the quad exhaust tips!!

I didn't think I'd like the quad-tips....but, I absolutely do. It's pretty neat the way they cut the diffuser all the way down to get'em in there, instead of closing them in like the SS or LT.
