I don't know about that. You have to be a bit of a fan boy to buy a Muscle Car. I know I have a GM bias, but I do love my Mustang and am having a blast working with Richard Petty's Garage on a special Challenger project. Then the GM Fan Boy in me creeps out as I count the months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds until my ZL1 delivers.

This is another way of saying, I have driven them ALL in OE and super modified condition. There is no hands down winner and I have the data logging and busted knuckles to prove it. In the end my inner Fan Boy comes out and I lean towards the Camaro, but really enjoy the other two and this June the Pedders Mustang will be faster, until we take the Camaro out on track...

you minimized his opinion by saying "the fanboys are going strong today". In my opinion, the only thing that matters in any forum is that the discussion is on topic - which in this case is anything on "General automotive and other cars discussion".

I personally am hostile to any attempts to minimize or shutdown the free-flow of ideas and thoughts - we see the fanatical oppression in dogmatic countries like Iran, and it burns me when it happens in so-called "free societies" like N.America. One has to wonder what drives a person to want to shut down a discussion? I see it all the time on Camaro forums - some narrow-minded person calls the moderators to shut down a thread because his pea-brain can't understand the need for it.

I am not referring to you of course - you did not want to shut down this thread - my joke is merely a segue to dig at other comments made by other people; but nevertheless you did minimize the thoughts of some of the participants of this thread. Who cares whether someone in particular is a "fan boy"? What matters is the content of their thoughts - not their motivations.

Just my opinion, no harm intended.

My comment wasn't directed at anyone in particular. If you notice I didn;t quote anyone. But I did minimize his comment and pretty much everything else in this thread because there is no base for discussion. It's just Mustang guys saying "OMG 600+hp"
On something that's based on rumours and then the whole thread took off comparing cars that are nowhere near production or may never even see the light of day.....
