Meh....I average 41.1 MPG in my 11 Fiesta and I don't have to worry about the hybrid surcharge.

I don't drive enough miles a year to justify a hybrid and its added cost. If we go on a long trip we like to use our Tahoe anyway---more comfortable and has the built in DVD for the kiddos.

I'd get out a shovel and dig for my own oil before I'd drive a "green" car.

Drill early, Drill often.

Just think... if 20 years ago we ignored those people who said "We can't drill here. It will take 10 years to see a drop in gas prices if we start drilling more domestically." we would have been energy independent for the last 10 years!

when i had my 84 s10 173 v6 auto i was gittin round 25-27 round town , a friend of my brothers had a 83 s15 with the iron duke 4 and could barely manage 15-20 round town with auto , everybody looks at me like i am crazy now when i say that but i stayed right at or maybe lil under the speed limit and used overdrive bros friends truck did not have over drive but still had the same 3.73 gearing it is in how ya drive and with the right train of thought ya can reach some very good mpg
