The bowties on your car are made in Korea for your information, and the designer is Korean so technically speaking the Camaro is a lot more of an asian car that you care to identify.

Also the pogo stick that you would choose to commute on is more than likely made in China.

leave the pogo stick at home because you have plenty of japanese cars to choose from....

And if you own an asian car, then its probably a japanese car that happened to be in asia at some point...but if you look at it like that then get what ever car youd like cause if driving it in the US then your rollin in an American car....

Damn it people, this is a muscle car, performance car, forum. If you want to compare f'kin MPG go to a Prius website, they spend their time trying to out do each other in this arena. Its simple. If you bought a performance car and fuel price is your primary concern, you bought the wrong damn car.

If the Camaro is a weekend toy and you have a different DD, thats all good. But dont come around with the attitude you feel somehow slighted because the SS gets crappy gas mileage and you have to justify to yourself, even owning it.

I'd rather have a Camaro + Volt set-up for Fun + Daily Driver. I drove the Volt at a Motor Trend auto show I went to a week ago and it was awesome. It's quite, soft, but still has a little pep to it! I live in Virginia, so most of the time I'm within the Volt's electric range of where I work.

I've said it before....and I'll say it again, I've never....ever.... bought a vehicle based on gas mileage, I buy cars/trucks for their benefits and convienence of what I need them for.
I did buy a Silverado duramax in 03, but that was for pulling power more than fuel efficiency.
