Now thats funny right there.

Say what you will but I stick with GM. An American auto manufacturer that was started right here in the good ol' USA.

Sorry but this post is full of fail. Yeah its nice you have a fuel efficient vehicle at your disposal, ummmm but you are posting it on a Camaro website. You know about Camaros right? Big engines, big torque, silly little stuff like that.....

The bowties on your car are made in Korea for your information, and the designer is Korean so technically speaking the Camaro is a lot more of an asian car that you care to identify.

Also the pogo stick that you would choose to commute on is more than likely made in China.

Asian? So youre fine with driving Honda etc. and other rice fueled vehicles im assuming?

leave the pogo stick at home because you have plenty of japanese cars to choose from....

And if you own an asian car, then its probably a japanese car that happened to be in asia at some point...but if you look at it like that then get what ever car youd like cause if driving it in the US then your rollin in an American car....

I'm confused by this response, I think I understand but at the same time don't.

Damn it people, this is a muscle car, performance car, forum. If you want to compare f'kin MPG go to a Prius website, they spend their time trying to out do each other in this arena. Its simple. If you bought a performance car and fuel price is your primary concern, you bought the wrong damn car.

If the Camaro is a weekend toy and you have a different DD, thats all good. But dont come around with the attitude you feel somehow slighted because the SS gets crappy gas mileage and you have to justify to yourself, even owning it.

Do you use a GT-R or an LFA to commute back and forth? At $75000 and $400000 or so, those would make for an expensive commute!

You took the words right out of my mouth.

(and don't forget the cost of insurance, registration, maintenance, etc. of a second car)

I'd rather have a Camaro + Volt set-up for Fun + Daily Driver. I drove the Volt at a Motor Trend auto show I went to a week ago and it was awesome. It's quite, soft, but still has a little pep to it! I live in Virginia, so most of the time I'm within the Volt's electric range of where I work.

@OP: Just think about the type of car you posted about versus the type of car this forum was made for...

I've said it before....and I'll say it again, I've never....ever.... bought a vehicle based on gas mileage, I buy cars/trucks for their benefits and convienence of what I need them for.
I did buy a Silverado duramax in 03, but that was for pulling power more than fuel efficiency.

But you are ok with the camaro being completely designed in China, engineered in australia and built in canada???? Its a world carmarket. If u want to act like a racist and have credence to your words, buy a corvette. Ignorance is everything but bliss on forums.
