Or just vibrate my a$$ off.
I swapped the U-clamp w/ the band clamp for clearance issues..

Uh . . . no . . . opens up with nice sound . . . but I do have the cat back system and a CAI Inc Intake . . . which I love . . . but when I punch it . . . sounds wonderfully like the car is gulping air in the front and comes out with a nice throaty sound while accelerating.

I installed the Cherry Bomb cat back 2 weeks ago , it fit ok but the drone would suck your brain out your ears . I do have cam , headers and cats also so take that into consideration . I added two Moroso spiral flows immediately , quieted it down but the drone is still excessive . The idle is insanely good and overall it is good exept for the drone . The oem LS3 center mufflers are just perforated tubes , I'll bet they cancel the drone better than the spirals however my guys scrapped the old exhaust .
Anybody want to sell their old ones ?

I was about to order it but I'm having second thoughts .
I bolted the cat back system on with no problems .have heard that with the factory GFX kit you need to drop the rear valance. Stock valance just pull it out a little and every thing goes smooth. Just use a little wd40 or something on the rubber hangers to make them slide on and off better.

hey guys.. I'm getting my car soon and I was thinking about getting the stainless works system but I just heard the sound of these and they sound a lot more aggressive but the cat back is almost $700 cheaper than stainless because of that I have a question.. Are these lower quality? Will they not last as long? Or is there a reason? I'm not really worried about a performance increase (hp isn't a bad thing just not priority right now). So my other question is which would you guys suggest? Also does the v6 version of this sound anything like it? I know it wont sound the same but if it is anywhere near as aggressive that would be awesome.

They are lower quality, I wouldn't buy them in the rust belt. In Florida you'll be fine.

The steel exhaust will probably last a long time , it's heavy gauge and will sound great .
I could afford the stainless but could not justify the extra expense and am totally not into bling . Baddass flat black functionality works for me .
I'm not sure which stainless alloys the manufacturers use , however I do know stainless can crack over time from my experience with marine exhausts so I guess it's a crap shoot .
Either way I'm sure you'll end up with a good product that should last .

Had a few questions on the cherry bomb exhaust. Between the axelback and catback systems, is one louder then the other? ANd how much louder are these systems from the stock systems?

Thanks

Not sure about axel vs cat, but cat-back is significantly louder. I enjoyed these until I got my whipple and headers, then they were insanely loud.

Hey everyone,

I have a muffler delete and x-pipe on my stock exhaust system. I am wondering if anyone out there knows how the cherry bomb extreme series (
) sounds in comparison to my setup. I ran across that youtube video and fell in love with how it sounds. I like how my car sounds now but I am wondering if it is worth it get this system. I don't want to get the cherry bomb setup if its not as loud as what I have or if what I have is comparible in loudness and exhaust notes.

Any input would be appreciated.
