A good friend of mine has ordered one of the few Boss Leguna Seca's that are coming to Canada. We are in Ontario and the car is in Edmonton, Alberta. He is still trying to decide how he is going to get it here. His top option is getting it delivered to a local dealer on an open flatbed, but he is worried about rocks or other debris messing up the paint. His other option is us driving out there with a buddy in his Charger SRT. Road Trip! We were thinking about taking my SS, but we all smoke and there is no smoking in my car so the trip would be long with all the stops. Though it would be fun to run them side by side doen the TC's 4 lane...

I, personally, love all nice cars. Like a few of you here I am not brand loyal. If it's nice, has the features I want and it fits me, I go with it. I liked the 5.0, but I just wasn't comfortable in the cockpit. It just didn't fit right. I also think the Camaro is much sexier.

My buddy's SRT ('06) is a sweet beast, and if Dan gets a Boss that would mean that there are going to be three sweet ass muscle cars in town. When he gets it here we are going to have some fun with it, my SS and Shaun's SRT. I'll let you all know how they stack up. Can't wait to drive that beast!

If the most critical thing you guys can come up with is the looks, I'd say that's pretty impressive.

We allways have these threads comparing HP, weight, price, tires, etc on the newest high performance models every year. Camaro vs Mustang vs Challenger or whatever. The second part of the post is allways: BUT if they had the same tires, or the track times or the torque curves or the real street, blah blah blah.....The debate goes on and on forever.

The fact is, this race is fought and won IN THE SHOWROOM! Ford has beaten the Chevy Camaro SS with thier Boss Mustang in the numbers game. Ding-Ding! we have a winner! The battle was over before the engines started. The Boss wins based on the numbers alone and the prize goes to the big blue oval in the form of another mustang sale $$$$ and bragging rights at the bench racing session.

What actually happens on the street and track is a totaly different contest.

The one thing that can't be changed is that it still is an ugly car no matter how many stripes you put on it. I'm also waiting for the claims that it is a stock low 11- second quarter mile car to come from the gang over at SVT

Nope, just a mid to high 11 sec car with good tires and driver. Someone has already ran an 11.7 qtr mile with tires and a dealer invoice attached to the window.....

and looks is subjective. Whether u like it or not, the Boss is a nice package.

I saw this the other day and did it to my buddys GT and it sounds bad ass. I've now convinced him to skip the steeda cai and go straight for the boss intake for only a few bucks more. Its even tube-able, so if you feel it too loud put one back in. It's also not any louder at cruising speeds or even at half throttle, just like a quadrajet with a flipped air cleaner lid circa high school days.
