anyone try doing any stripes or any other graphics using this stuff? from what im reading its pretty much spray on vinyl. thoughts? was thinking maybe about hood spears

I wouldn't do that. My plasti dip job looks ok for wheels but the finish is not good enough for me to spray it on my hood in some type of design. Maybe if you did a complete body panel it would look ok.

Okay, bought three cans of plasti dip and went ahead and bought some acryllic paint to try on top before the clear. I will do plasti dip with just clear on one wheel and plasti dip, paint, clear on another wheel and compare them. Hope to have this done by this weekend. I can try both matte clear and glossy clear.

i'm thinking about painting part of the front portion of my GM gfx kit. still haven't gotten the balls to do it though.

Did mine too... Not bad for $25 in supplies!! No tire machine, so I just made sure to wedge the tape in between the tire and wheel.






I think it came out pretty well


And looks better with the black lugs


Did the Bowties too
