DA was right at 2,500 ft. 60' was a dismal 1.68. Should be running low 1.5 60' times. I am getting more tire for the car. It spins on every shift going down the track as can be heard in the video.

Pass was a 11.63@118 with a corrected DA time of 11.29@121. That is with the terrible 60'. If I can knock 1.5 tenths off the 60' and I will be right there.

I drive this car to the track with the A/C on and stereo blasting, change tires, run, change back to stock tires and drive home.

man im usually in agreement with you, but you are hard headed. no bowing down to another car or stuff like that. just common sense. i know the mustang guys push their new bad ass car too much, but you ignore reality.

im still waiting to see your 10 second run. you should be in the 10's solidly at 125ish. 470rwhp 3900lbs. lets see your car run like it should. then be critical of cars that are running those times.

Some here push the 5.0 too hard, I'm glad you see that....I do agree the new 5.0 is a bad ass car, no arguement there at all. The reality is, so far I've yet to see one crack the 12's here. Not saying the car is slow, just telling you what I see.

My car in the 10s? Not a chance in hell....I did finally get some drag radials so I'll finally be able to see what this car can really do. I did have a chance to weigh the car with a full tank and me in it...4,160 pounds. I'd expect more to see a high 11 second pass on sticky tires..stay tuned.

And now that we have a 5th gen V6 in 11s, does that make it the fastest of the new modded V6 pony cars? I dont think Ive heard of any V6 stangs running better than 12s, anyone know different?

Thank you for the updates. I'm very interested to see what Ford will do with an SVT Cobra if there is one. Could be a tough choice between it and a ZL1 should it come to be.

the 2013 mustang will have styling cues fron the all new 2014 model year. its going to be a hybrid style wise.

I honestly didnt by my SS for interior design and how materials felt...I bought it to drive fast and to create memories. The hell with the fancy shit!

These sure are some exciting times for a hp addict. I'm in the market for a new fast car and a stock SS just isn't doing it for me anymore, I may just have to wait for these new Ford's if they look and have the engine selections that the Pill is referring to.

I really hope Chevy is going to bring something new to the table next year besides the ZL1 which is basically going to be the same four year old CTS-V but with Camaro sheet metal.
