Are Dynatech headers as good quality as ARH and Kooks

Anyone know if Dynatech Lt headers are just as good manufacturer as some of the top headers such as ARH headers or kooks? A retailer is pushing them more then ARH headers. There close in price. He says one reason he likes Dynatech headers is because they have a flange style connection with donut and has less leaks then the slip on sleeve type {I'm assuming ARH headers are sleeve type then}. Or maybe he is making more money off the Dynatech headers ...........never no if a salesmen is looking out for his best interest or yours.... Thanks

Ive heard some fitments issues and noise from touching parts for the frame or other parts of the car....but they are a decent product...I went with the new stepped kooks...they fit perfect and get you a few more horses...call Maryland speed for a GREAT price on a coated set!

Dynatech makes good headers. Very detail oriented company with great instructions and so forth. That being said, I do not believe Dynatech comes with merge collectors or merge spikes like Kooks. Now I am certain someone will rush in behind me and argue that merge spikes and merge collectors do not make power. However my thought is, if you are spending premium header money, you should get every feature you can. Also, Kooks headers use a ball and socket collector design. I have never had an issue with one of these leaking.

At the end of the day, every shop is gonna have their opinion based on several factors. Personally, we are fans of Kooks..and I have never had an issue with them on any of my cars.

I asked Ted Jannetty why they didn't sell Kooks on his site, and he said that Dynatechs are a superior product. I'm going to go with the Dynatechs with tune from him. haven't heard of any issues with kooks though. Everyone has an opinion.

you will be very happy with your Dynatechs and Tune from Jannetty Racing, I brought my Camaro to Ted with only 200 miles on it and had the JRE Street Package installed, I love it.

I personally believe all the higher end header like KOOKS, ARH, Dynatech, Stainless Works are all going to basically be the same quality. Get the ones that fit in your budget the best.

Do some shopping and make sure to compare apples to apples when pricing. When I was looking I wanted 1 7/8", HF Cats, and ceramic coating. By the time I added all the stuff plus shipping, I was having a hard time beating Maryland Speed's pricing on all of that. The biggest kicker on that one was the ceramic coating. If you buy the headers and the coating from Maryland Speed at the same time it's extremely hard to beat.

If you can afford the extra $200 or so it costs for stepped headers I would go that route as well.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the majors. Dynatech does make a good product It was down to Dynatech and Stainless works for me and I went with Stainless works due to pricing and the lifetime warranty. Dynatech does offer a 1 year warranty.
