If you want a ZL1, buy a ZL1. If you don't have the money for a ZL1, well thats the breaks. Buy what you can afford, and be happy with it. Don't be a poser! There are a lot of posers running around. Sad, but true. The funny thing is, the posers think they're getting away with the deception when the rest of us can easily spot them, and laugh at them for what they truely are.

Won't clone it, just modify it and make it faster than the ZL1.

Wouldn't mind ZL1 wheels (or ssx wheels), the ss wheels are too plain.

Cool

** Nothing wrong with a Clone...
Just don't pass it off as the "Real Thing" when you sell it ....
When you see a "Yenko" - AC Cobra - "The Judge" GTO ; most likely
they are not the original thing ..........
If you can clone it for less than sticker... go for it........
~ SO... What is the price of cloning a ZL-1 ???
If you can take that money & your car "Trade in" & get a real one...
~~~~ Then there's "No Reason to Clone" ~~~~~
I'm sure there will be some who will clone the ZL1 appearance wise, and some who will add certain parts from the ZL1 to their Camaro.
I think the word Clone can be used in good and bad, as many have pointed out. I would assume the OP is asking about the good... as in Upgrading parts of their SS to ZL1 (i.e. hood, fascia, diffuser, suspension, or even engine).
To clone a car using badging and trying to pass it off as the original (on paper and in price) is just bad.
I'd love these rims if they didn't say ZL1 on them...
