the other funny comment is "we pay our military too much if they can afford that". you know, unless you deploy a crapload, you really don't make all that much. But when you get sent for 4-16 month to a total craphole, that extra $150 haz pay a month, and $3.50 a day, and maybe even tax free can build up to a nice chunk of change after all that time in a place you likely can't spend squat on. Seems like the least that can happen when any minute a IED or sniper can take your life while you sweat your ass off under 30lbs of extra body armor and full set of BDU's in 120 degree heat not indexing in the humidity.

people who never did a stint in a unit that is deployed more often than not or ever served seem to be the ones that make those kinds of statements.

And to the above comment, I have to agree, I don't make that much at all. And if I was to get a Viper, (never happen) it would definitely have to be used, just like if I was to get a 'vette.

Ok, let's go with the flow, OP in order to get your friends Viper your Camaro will need the following modifications:

1- Change it for a ZR1
2- Invite your friend to the track
3- Be a happy camper
