Yeah - we did and it was still there, but noticed on my trip that it is not always there - didn't hear it this week until the last 50 miles home. Will get it checked next week!

I have heard the same noise from mine. I have yet to pinpoint the exact conditions that make it start. A/C on or off doesnt seem to make a difference. Maybe a belt??

I dont mind the sound so much, as it does sound a little like a blower, lol!

Intermittent squealing can be a loose belt. If its pretty steady and increases with rpm then I look at A/C compressor, alternator, and water pump. They can have bad bearings.

I had a whining noise in my Tahoe. Yea it sounded like I had a blower in it. It turned out to be a bad oil pump.

I hope your upcoming trip to your dealer sheds some light on this issue. I hope it's nothing too serious and you are able to get back on the road without this noise and able to enjoy the vehicle again! Let us know how it goes for you.
