Nahh, while I agree that there should be no name calling, it seem that you DISMISS the explaination that many posted that the car did not go through final inspection and was not shipped. It was an event for enthusiast to see the first camaro off the line. It was not untill Fbodfather said what many have been saying the ENTIRE time, that you began to listen. It gets old real fast IMO.

The RS package for the SS models get you the midnight silver rims, the halo headlights, body color roof ditch molding, a red "SS" badge (instead of white) and darker tail lights. They are just more of a dark red, rather than a regular red.

Actually I have to disagree with you on this one respectfully Scott. You may not have liked the way he posted his concern, or how he worded the first post in this thread. However this was an issue brought up before and it was not fixed on the line. If the plan was to build them all wrong like this and have them fix the problem later, then that is all you or anybody from GM would have to say about the issue. His reaction and the reaction of disbelief from others including myself were all warranted considering this is not a new issue.. Just be glad there are enthusiasts on this site at all that are still buying the Camaro and putting up with many crappy dealers who are out to lie and cheat their way into stealing more money out of the product you helped create and sell.. it is still beyond me why Gm seems to look the other way about those issues.. Especially those brought up in the thread below..

Thought I'd chime in here. I've brought this up before but I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP. I have had nothing but problems with the car. In the first month, I had to have the panoramic sunroof completely replaced. Less than two years later, I had to have it replaced again. Interior parts squeak and rattle all over the car and I've taken it in for repair on so many things. The last time I had it in for a loose, rattling door panel, they tried to put padding in it and when that didn't fix it, they said that it really wasn't that bad, even though they acknowleded that they still heard a rattle. The dealership is very far away from my house and they aren't always the nicest to their customers. Plus, I usually have to take time off of work to take it and it doesn't always make the boss happy.

My point is that even though I love the look of the Camaro, it's interior quality is the single thing holding my back from pre-ordering one or buying one anytime soon. I understand that adjustments might have to be made when the dealer receives the vehicles but it's not very easy or fun to keep having to take them into the shop for adjustments and other items like that. Interior quality, among reliability, are very big priorities for me. With the money we pay for any vehicle these days, I feel that every effort should be made to get it right the first time. Sorry for the rant but my G6 has really soured me on interior quality and I'm hoping the Camaro exceeds my expectations.

I hope after the launch and people have their Camaros, you can relax and enjoy your Camaros and not have to worry about these posts.

I guess it was poor word choice to start the thread, but we at the forum had the sincerest intention to discuss this issue so it doesnt get blown out of proportion. Things some times get way to outta hand. To be honest, I saw problem a long time before anyone even mentioned it. I saw that Issue with the Silver SS with the IOM interior, and i knew it was pre prod. so i didnt worry about it. GM is aware of it and they will fix this. Why is thing being blow out of proportion?. BTW, do you think the Oshawa Plant would let Rick take car home with this issue just like that? I mean seriously.........
