I've driven three Camaros ('97, '67, and '00, in order) and never really felt like I had a problem with visibility. I don't like whatever you may call visibility in SUVs (I don't really know what the common opinion on this is) and when I got my G35, I thought the visibility was really weird. Maybe I'm in the minority, but in my experience, the Camaro's visibility isn't a problem for me in the least. In fact, I tend to prefer it.

I put on a set of those small blind spot mirrors, and I have never looked over my shoulder since. Another benefit is when I am backing up because I can see how close the rear tires are to the curb.

TLDRing this thread; I can say that my exploder spurt has trained me in the art of blind spots.

My mum was scared shitless when she realized her Edge had so many, and could complain all day about them. I then reminded her of the Camaro and wondered what had happened over the past 35 years while I drove the Edge like my Exploder..

No diff. And if a Camaro driver says the Edge has bad blind spots, and I drive it no problem then the Camaro is what I need. I always use rear, both mirrors and shoulder because the Exploder is that bad. There's windows where the blind spots should be, and blindspots where the windows should be. Such is life, and such is the Camaro

Yep, I learned this from The Car Guys on NPR. My Civic coupe has a big blind spot. I rely on my mirrors for everything, including backing up. It works great. I'm looking forward to the low windshield-top. I drive with the visor down in every car I've ever owned (short guy), including some old Firebirds.

Here is the simple but good answer I think. Don't buy one till you test drive and see for yourself. The window well that simply comes with sport coupes. It helps give you the good looks and gas mileage with a lower aero drag CO EFF vs a Truck or Sedan etc.

The piller.. might block your view but makes one stiff frame. Enhances drive quality and a safety feature as well.

Drive a 2010 Malibu if U want the cream. Good luck..

Or wait for the vert if you want better visibility. Only drive it with the top down.

I've never used blind spot mirrors. I may have to try them when I get my LS. I don't want to accidentally back into anything.

The only time I will worry about getting in the right hand lane is to exit the freeway and when I do everything will be way behind me when I exit LOL But like everyone else has said its not a camaro if you can see and not have any blind spots makes it a higher level of difficulty which is what I like

Word. I've got more than radar... I've got a real time 3D HUD showing all bogies in the sector. And with the way the seats, windows, and pillars are in my truck, I'm used to it. I can look out the front windows but the back-side windows are non-existent to me because of the pillar on the drivers side and the passenger seat on the passenger side.
