If not, I would try this and use adhesion promoter on the fascia as well. You will likely have to remove the splitter though. My ultimate fix was a different splitter, but because of other paint issues.
I made sure that I stripped the wax with dish soap around the area where the tape is suppose to line. Do you know what type of tape your installer used? I like the idea of rcat since sealing the gap with the sillicone kinda make sense but I am a little shaky with using black sillicone around the lower bumper but it look like this might be the only option if I cant find a stronger tape.

Never had a problem with mine.Used degreaser to clean the area, rubbing alcohol also to be sure. I bought the good 3m tape from O'Rielly's.

I got creative since I didn't want to rely on just 3M tape on the ends. I drilled a few holes and used some short screws on the ends going in from behind the fascia. Used 2 longer bolts with washers and lock nuts on each one of the 3 middle post. Getting ready to pull it back off and have it and the new rear spoiler painted. Just can't decide if I'm going to paint them or just take it to a paint shop, don't have a lot of spare time these days.

I added a couple extra large screws myself to help keep it in place. The problem I saw is that some high speed runs puts enough down force on the splitter that it was pulling away on the ends and tipping the front contact point away from the fascia. This has resolved the issue so far.

I cleaned everything with de-waxer, de-greaser, and rubbing alcohol. The tape is holding the best it can. It is the high speed down force that causes to much pressure. So far so good with the extra screws and another round of silicone and more of it.

My next move is to add some short screws from the back side into the ends of the splitter near the wheelhouse opening. I just have not had time to get in there and mess with it yet.

I did the same. I have one large screw as the main attachment point on the three front points, then in front as it didnt close up I used the little screws up at the very front of each"pylon" to draw it tight. But today I do have a problem as I again didnt turn the wheel enough and scraped the curb Gouged/scraped the splitter some and pulled it away from the side where it is taped.I will use a long screw or bolt to connect the sides, and some new tape also.It wont show as I use anti skid tape to protect the lower sides if this happens which it has before!
I have renamed the splitter, it is now a lower fascia protection device!

this is the best looking splitter for the v6 IMO but the only thing that's holding me back is the installation. I want it clean looking but with all the work needed to get it stay on is just a hustle...

Stillen/ street scene needs to rework this

Thanks TJ.. I am always changing the look of my car. This is actually my 3rd set of stripes since feb when I got my car. I originally had red reverse hockey stripe with cowl stripe but the first one got damaged from automatic car wash so I had to replace with a 2nd same set then I changed to my latest, deep green(pic dont do any justice) rally stripe and I am actually ready to go onto my 4th change, but this time I am going back to red but in bumble bee style stripe.

Rcat.. thanks for the pic. I actually uninstalled the splitter today. The weather round here been hected and very unusual(maybe 2012 is true) in the 90-100 for over a month. My passenger side was actually dangling today so there was no way I was going to try to fix this in this heat so I just took the whole thing off so I can do it properly once the weather get cool. I think I am just going to find a day sometime this week or whenever this weather cool off and take the whole front bumper off so I can do this more easily. Im even thinking about painting the splitter to match the paint but still contemplating.

If your gonna use tape, try carpet tape. I would add screws myself though.

To get a good bead around the edge, get the blue "stretchy fine line" tape and go around the edges on both sides of the seam. Leave about 1/8 inch space on either side from the edge of the part. Apply the silicon and use a tongue depressor (or similar tool with a round end) and scrape off the excess. Start from one end and go clear to the other end in one motion. You can use a little spit on your finger to touch up the rough spots...

reinstalled the splitter today using bigger screws to tap the 3 points then using black sillicone to seal the gaps and to hold the splitter inplace. I dont think is going anywhere this time.
