Think about the statement for a second. North of 570 HP. If it were 580 something they would have said north of 580 HP, if it were 590 something they would have said North of 590 and so on.

It is going to be somewhere from 571 to 580 HP SAE rated if this rumor is true. Wonder when the actual number will be announced.

OK, I was overly optimistic and overshot it by 5 HP. I am still very happy with 580HP.

Why does the ZL1 engine compartment look so ugly, I mean it is nice but the CTS-V engine compartment is way nicer. All those hoses running all over the place look terrible.

...I like a "few" guts showing, the CTS-V has covers over everything.....the ZL1 hits that balance for me...

I'm with Dragoneye, when I open the hood I like to see the engine/mechanicals, not when I open the hood I see .... a second hood. All the plastic covers over everything is redundancy, that is what the hood is for.
