Glad the keys were returned to you. When something like that happens all you can see are the dollar bills coming out of your wallet. Yes, you know you aren't the only one that has accidentally dropped your keys somewhere not nice!

You should ask the dealer you bought it from to provide you with a second set of keys.

They did so much for me after the deal was made I kind of felt weird asking for them to make one. One of the things they did was change the front bumper and put a new one. That was the only imperfection on the car - some rock chips. After the deal was already inked the manager after hearing me grunt a little - he without me asking ordered a new bumper and installed it before I took delivery of the car.

With that he earned my business to return.

This is what I was gonna post as well. So $46 + whatever it costs to get it cut and programmed, since you don't have another working key. Might be a wise purchase so you'll have 2. I bought mine used and told the dealer I wanted both keys. He had to call the previous owner to get the other one. I'm glad I did.
