Hey Cammie.....yes it was a bummer......so much so I drove home....its only about an 1 1/2 hrs.....and to top it off, I get pulled over for no front plate....When the officer apporched my car, he ask me "how it going" I told him "not so good" as I had me car broke into last night....and I don't usually drive with my windows down....that one (I pointed to my passanger side) is GONE as it was busted out byu the theives......He took my info and went back to his car....came back and gave me a warning and told me to please get the plate on.

Wow, I'm glad you didn't get a ticket, that would have been a horrible way to end the trip! We went out to the races to watch for a bit, but I was really upset and just wanted to go home so I can fix my car, I keep telling myself it's just a car, but it means more to me than that, I hope they find the people who did it but I know it's a slim chance! My insurance agent just called and we will take cate of it in the morning he said, I figured out the took approximately 1500$ in electronics and other stuff!

Hey Henry, you left after the first run.. couldnt find you anywhere. Anyway enjoyed the races and witnessed a few blown motors and trashed transmissions...not so good. Overall a good day at the races. Hope to see everyone soon.

3rd Annual Texas Camaro Nationals

Kudos to the H-Town Camaro Club for hosting and running a great weekend of Camaro's and Friends...

I spent Saturday at ARD, watching the dyno day competition and the car show...

There were some incredible dyno pulls for each class of car....including an 870 HP monster that is an absolutely beautiful car in addition to being incredibly strong...

As for the car show, wow, there are some amazing personal touches on some of these cars... It never ceases to amaze me the ingenuity and originality of some of the Camaro owners I meet at different events. The iPad bracket tied into a cars entire audio/video system was amazing... The underhood lighting on the car from Beaumont... and a multitude of other incredible mods...

I didn't get to make it out to Hennessey for their open house but several of my close friends did and they said they also had a great time...

Saturday evening was spent at Frank-n-steins. There was a great group of friends from events past, and a bunch of new friends to meet... The laughter was easy and honest...

Sunday, everyone retired to the racetrack for a day of put up or shut up competition...

Wow, I enjoyed watching some great racing and shared a bunch of time with others...Angel, congratulations on the holeshot win of the whole thing in the C-4 class... You are a demon on the tree, with cutting an .008 earlier in qualifying and the a very very quick start in the final race....

The track safety and prep crews did an awesome job prepping the track and keeping it in tip top shape...

H-Town... You guys rock... I enjoyed the entire weekend... Already looking forward to the Texas Camaro Nationals IV...

Definitely was a beautiful weekend for the Camaro Nationals...car show and racing. Plenty of sunshine as i think a few of us got enough sun for the rest of the year.

I had a lot of fun. Looking forward to next year.

Great seeing you again, Robert! I agree, it was a great weekend!

It's hard to believe this was my first time driving down the track. I've been missing out all these years!

O M G... I think we've created a monster... Great Job Angel... you earned that win...

It was a blast seeing all the out of towners this year. And we had a couple of very special cars come down.

Henry stole the car show with his custom Hennessey machine with tons of audio and video upgrades and then he laid the smak down at the track. How cool was that... a car doing double duty...

Then there was Chris' car "The ADM Twin Turbo" . Now this is one serious Camaro and we were so glad he brought it down and hung out with us. I hope he doesn't mind wiping up some of my .. This car traveled with us to Fest #1 in Georgia and I totally didn't recongnize it now...

The car show and dynos were fun and the trophys went to some nice cars and some high HP cars...32 dynos were done which is a ton of work for the ARD crew who were busy working cars for the races too.

Today's race began with a perfectly prep'd track until we promply started laying oil down. Two blocks w/ holes them caused a bit of clean up work but the crew did a great job getting it back in shape and the finals in each division ran without a hitch. Bracket Racing followed the finals and boy did it get real competitive then.

Thanks to everyone who came out... we learn a lot each year and hope to make this one better as we go.

Standby for pics/videos and timeslips...

It was really sad to hear this first thing this morning... You were such a cool person to meet this weekend and your spirits were still up even after the incident... sure hope we all get to hang out again soon.

Nuke I can't believe you finally got rid of that front plate and then get pulled over. Sorry to hear about your damages too and as I know your car is always pristene... Hope the parking lot video can help w/ the investigation and if the H-Town Club can help in any way please let us know.
