I actually REALLY like the Malibu. Maybe if they came out with a Malibu SS for the new model I'd add that to my list of cars to look into.

Though I actually hope to talk my mom into a Malibu when she's finally ready for a new car in the next few years.

Re: Malibu SS - The Malibu is strictly a family car, and shouldn't pretend to be anything else. The last Malibu SS sullied the good name of SS.

only other option for me is the CTS-V

I'd go c-6, but already have a vette and 2 seats just doesnt fit the family... guess the wife has to go

Im considering a Corolla, Focus, Cobalt ect........ None of these
could or would replace the mustang/camaro. Just need cheap reliable transpertation. Right now, the corolla looks the best but that could change. You can buy a stipped down focus for 12K and it has AC. Thats all but it does have it. Not a bad deal.. The rolla is about 2.5K higher but has a nice track record. THe chevy Im not sure on. Cheap cars are coming into style because of fuel prices. Gas is killling me.

Stay away from the Focus. Terrible car and I've heard of loads spending most of the time in the shop.
