It will possibly just mute it. Its kinda weird with onstar because sometimes on the mute wire you still have to add resistors to the wire to get it not to turn off. If its not bothering you that much I wouldnt worry about it, its not gonna hurt anything. I usually dont even tell customers about it and they just think its normal. How often do you really use onstar anyways? If you did decide to use it, just connect it to the brown wire on the harness.
