Good run! Some people just refuse to give credit where its due...
Those crying P.O.S. Caprice would be the same one running home with their tail
between their legs after getting beat

Ooops.

because every track is the same... and of course, i'm going to keep my car stock as well

I put it this way, he wouldn't run a 13.7 at Steele, and the Bama guys can back me on that, its a terrible track

but if you guys REALLY want to compare the V6 to the V8 go ahead, you PROBABLY just want to keep that race stock for stock, because once we tune ours, its pretty much over unless you are bringing f.i.

Be kinda silly to run the same chassis v6 against v8, no? Any case look up us41 (no limits raceway) this track is so bad I hit a groundhog at 101mph just after the lights. The track is in the middle of a corn field. Track prep means blowing the corn husks off the pavement.

I ran a 13.204 @ 105.49 he ran a 13.736 @ 104.23

my car is pretty much stock an axleback and x-pipe probably added a whopping 3whp, lol

Even funnier - not kidding about the groundhog; $1850 in repairs.

Cool, good run by the way - this is me running a V8 Mustang GT same night as the other video. Don't know the year or engine.... It will give you an idea of the DA that night.

That's pretty much it.

It's clear that if Xanthos wasn't modded, he would have lost. And if the Caprice wasn't modded, he would have lost.

So the reality of the situation is ... kudos is due to BOTH cars.
Can you translate any of what you wrote into English? Cause you made absolutely NO sense.

ET isn't the whole story....RT plays a major role in who gets there first. A half a second at 105 mph is about 3 car lengths unless one car absolutely TREED the other...which is CLEARLY what happened here. If you're going to try to make a point...at least know what you are talking about.

its more like 4 car lengths which to 100 is a beating, lol

as far as mods, I would call my car far from "modded" I replaced the section of the exhaust which while it makes your car louder... does SHIT for performance, lol

i'm still running stock filter, etc... not for long, CAI will be in at the end of the week, tune going on either next week or the following...

then 13s will be a thing of the past...with 1 REAL mod and a tune...

and i'm not hating on the fact the guy ran 13s with a V6, I think that is awesome, my problem is the title of the topic... but seeing "cammed V8" and then seeing him out accelerate a 14 second donk would be like me saying "Camaro beats Cobra by bus lengths" and then show me thrashing a mid 14 second '96 Cobra... deceiving to say the least

You raise a good point. My headline was meant to be a sensational. Albeit, completely factual. Suppose I coulda said modded V8. Or maybe purpose built v8 racer. But that seemed a bit wordy.
