You should check out the one on the cover of the new Camaro Performers! I fell in love all over again.
Once I figure out how to get some picts of my '73 up, I will PM you a few. I guess you could say it was kind of a "Burnt Orange" color.

What I am saying is that the ZL1 is faster, but NOT as high quality as the CTS-V, therefore will not price as much as one.
The 2013 GT500 runs 6 seconds faster than the ZL1 at the Nurburgring...does that mean that everyone here now thinks the GT500 should cost $100,000??????
No way in he'll I'm going to lay down 60k for a car that already is slower then the competition and isn't even in production yet.

Thats just what's going around the web, I can't say it's FACT yet, but IF that becomes the case, I probably will still get a 13-14 ZL1 OR used Zo6....it's more of a wait and see for me at this point.

If it with all my options and TTL comes out over 60K, I either need to try to come up with more down or back out. I am going to try and keep the payment at or below $600. I only owe like $17,000 on my 2SS and I should be able to sell it for around 33K to 32K according to KBB and also have atleast 5K cash that I will have saved up. The least I could do is trade in and only get about 28 to 29 thousand for it. So I should have about 20 to 25 to put down. This will keep the wife Happy, and a wise man told me once that " A HAPPY WIFE IS A HAPPY LIFE" and I beleave that. Well if someone buys my car they definitely will get some extras on it for free.

When I bought my '10 Z06 it was more like 78k so this is all a little bit off base. People are heming and hawing over 5k not the added expense of 18 to 21k before taxes. Plus all the '13 GT500 talk is speculation at this point besides getting a 5.8l, everything else has not been announced by FMC.

Not saying it won't produce some spectacular numbers on the ring. But for now this is nothing more than a few people that have heard rumors. I think it was the Pill had brought this up in another thread. At this point I hope FMC fires a big bullet that way GM can respond with the TVS2300.

It's too bad so many of these comments come off as hate or bitterness. Since when has CAMARO's interior been substandard in terms of quality? Maybe it's not as tarted-up as more expensive cars, but there's a pretty big gap in performance, so that, to me, makes up for any short comings in the interior.

I really hope you're not referring to me, I have no bitterness in my heart towards the Camaro, the only point I was trying to make was that, I couldn't imagine the ZL1 costing more than a CTS-V because of obvious reasons.

Don't get me wrong, I love my 2010 SS, but I don't know if I'm ready to spend this extreme amount of money for a Camaro.
Your going to have a few back out of the deal when the price is announced. Then you will have more dropping out when their dealer tries to hit them with a "Market adjusted price." Which will put them in the same range as a CTS-V.

Just like when anything first comes out they mark it up and later on when the demand comes down you get regular pricing.

Right now going to keep my SS see what happens with the pricing and may end up waiting for a 2013. Quite a few people are acting like you are never going to be able to get one or they just have to get the first one in their area.

Well to tell you the truth if I wanted a Z06 or a CTS V,I would buy one.I prefer the tarted up Camaro for some reason!
Now if it comes out at like $100,000 then ill pass

I'm with you on this a 100%... I said no matter what we will be criticized about the quality of the interior. Honestly I think the ZL1 has a very nice interior especially now that they have took the critique of the '10 and improved all of the negative comments about the interior.

I feel the exact same way. This car has my heart pumping as if it was 1969 and I have an opportunity to buy a 9561... Then it makes me think hmmmmm where was the CTS-V during those great times.

Like I said before, GM will decide who was right here, if they MSRP the ZL1 above the CTS-V I will admit I was wrong

Lets hope your right...im figuring $70,000 CDN give or take a grand
