Oh Yes, The daily should I get a Manual or Automatic thread. I say get an auto, but it has to be a Synergy Green with Black stripes. If you can't get that, get a manual any color. On the serious side, get what YOU want, YOU will drive it and YOU will pay for it.

Sorry to hijack, mod4747.

I've always told people when they ask this that it's completely up to them.

Do what you feel you should in your heart...or gut, wherever it is...and that'll lead you down a path you're least likely to regret.

426 HP with ~15% loss = Faster than 400 HP with ~20% loss. I can draw you a flowchart or Venn diagram or a picture of some sort if that would help.

I daily drive mine in city traffic and would still choose manual 10/10 times over the automatic.

This past week I also just drove from New York to Florida in it and had a blast. Just my opinion but I just couldn't see myself going back to an automatic car.

I love my manual SS and wouldn't trade it for anything. It's up to you but I've seen very few "I'm trading my manual for an automatic!" threads. You only live once. So buy what your heart desires.

This - considering this person (like most) will never reach top speed.

Faster ain't got a thing to do with quicker..............I always get tickled when you young whipper snappers start using charts to win races.
