Is this normal

Ok so I'm 14 years old and my parents said if I maintain steady GPA of 3.6 to 4.0 which is all A's and B's i can get a 2ss when I'm 15 and a half. All year I have had a GPA of 3.6, and schools here are easy. Enough with the boring, I just wanted to know is it normal that I am saving up money to either pay for some of the camaro, I do get more money than most 14 year olds because I do Adsense and Ebay and all that, and I calculated that by the time I'm 15 and a half I would have around 10k, so should i help my parents buy it or save it for a rainy day, or mods when I'm like 16 or 17

I've had hotrods since I was 15. I paid for all of them myself. My parents paid the insurance, and I paid for the car and gas. I thought I had it made!

If you can swing it, get what makes you happy!
If I had a 400+ HP car back then, I would be dead.

Personally, I think it's way too much power for a 15yr. old. Ask any mature responsible adult and they'll tell you it's very difficult to be responsible with this automobile, you'll either want to race it or push it to it's limits and that can be dangerous on the streets.
However, with that said I; I don't think there's anything wrong with you wanting to contribute.
Be safe, and if you want to do things the right way go to the track, and perhaps even use the money you save to take some advanced driving lessons on an open track. This is something I'm planning on doing as well, as I'm very much interested in learning proper technique when driving a high performance vehicle vs a typical car.

If your grades are going to be as good as your driving skills, then you are set. Just remember this car is very different then most drivers ed cars or family beaters. It requires some more focus and a lot of blind spot awareness and self awareness.

Lol and don't worry some of the younger guys like us aren't stupid :P
